Most natural
Gemini gemini-3.1-flash-tts-preview tops naturalness at Elo 1591 from blind human A/B votes on phone-agent lines, with ElevenLabs eleven_v3_conversational at 1590 (2026-07-03). The two are a statistical tie; their win-rate intervals overlap. Speed splits them: eleven_v3_conversational reaches first audio in 266ms against 978ms for gemini-3.1-flash-tts-preview.

No voice wins every language. In our blind A/B listening studies (2026-07-21): ElevenLabs eleven_v3_conversational leads Spanish; Gemini gemini-3.1-flash-tts-preview leads Filipino. German, French, Arabic, Norwegian, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu are statistical tie bands - the top intervals overlap, so no leader is declared; read the full columns before picking there.
